A: You must select a matching 10216/A/. module based on the power rating of your physical field load. For loads between 0.4W and 1.1W use the 10216/A/2; for loads between 1.2W and 4.7W select the 10216/A/3; and for heavy loads greater than or equal to 4.8W use the 10216/A/4.

Q3: The module is showing a "Lead Breakage" error on a channel that has no external wiring connected. How do I clear this?
A: Unused or spare channels will automatically trigger a lead breakage alarm if left completely open. To prevent this false diagnostic trip, you must install a dummy load resistor by plugging a 10216/A/1 spare channel module (which contains an integrated 4.7 kOhm dummy load resistor) into the corresponding programming connector slot on the backplane.
