Q2: How does the FC-RUSIO-3224 interface with high-voltage AC field devices safely?
A: The module communicates via a Mass Termination Cable (MTC) connected to an FC-USCH01 DIN-rail backplane. This backplane hosts individual single-channel isolation modules, such as the FC-UORH01 (Output Relay) or FC-UIRH01 (Input Relay), achieving up to 1500 VAC galvanic isolation between the clean safe-side DCS logic and hazardous field loops.

Q3: An AC digital input channel status fails to register as "ON" in the Experion console. What voltage thresholds should I check?
A: When routed through an FC-UIRH01 input relay adapter, the field signal must cross a hard Pick-Up voltage threshold of at least 70 VAC to register an "ON" state. If the field line drops down to 35 VAC or lower, the adapter enters a Drop-Out state, forcing the DCS data to show an "OFF" status.

Q4: Can the FC-RUSIO-3224 handle inductive loads directly on its field side terminations?
